An exciting opportunity has arisen to join White Stuff as Store Manager of its brand-new shop at The Furlong in Ringwood, opening later this autumn.
Founded in 1985, White Stuff is known for its distinctive womenswear and menswear, original in-house prints, thoughtful design details, accessories and homeware. Its people are at the heart of the brand, with a culture that encourages individuality, ideas and taking ownership.
About the role
As Store Manager, you’ll take overall responsibility for the new Ringwood shop, leading the team and helping establish White Stuff within The Furlong and the wider local community.
You’ll be responsible for driving commercial performance, delivering an excellent customer experience, developing and motivating your team and ensuring the shop always reflects White Stuff’s high visual and operational standards.
What you’ll be doing
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, coaching and inspiring the shop team to deliver an outstanding customer experience
- Driving sales and managing key performance indicators
- Creating a commercial shop floor that responds to customer demand and sales opportunities
- Maintaining excellent product presentation and visual merchandising standards
- Managing stock levels, deliveries, Click & Collect and other shop operations
- Recruiting, developing and retaining a talented and engaged team
- Managing staffing, budgets, promotions and key trading periods
- Building relationships within the local community and identifying opportunities for the store to get involved in local events
- Championing White Stuff’s values, charity partnerships and approach to ethical sourcing and environmental impact
Who White Stuff is looking for
You’ll be passionate about retail and fashion, with previous experience of successfully managing a shop and leading a team.
You’ll be commercially minded, confident working with sales targets and KPIs and passionate about creating a brilliant experience for both customers and colleagues.
Most importantly, White Stuff is looking for someone who can bring their personality to the role, inspire others and help make the new Ringwood store a success from day one.
